Biography

Madalyn Schimpf is a young and dedicated musician, newly beginning her journey towards turning her passion into her profession. This guitarist  with a bright and playful energy that can lighten up any mood cites a quote by poet  Charles Bukowski as the driving force behind her present endeavors,  and that is “to find what you love and let it kill you.”

Planning to hopefully in the future dabble in a little bit of everything, from live sound mixing all the way to audio engineering, Madalyn is currently enrolled as a college student pursuing her associate’s degree majoring in Music Business Technology. At this point in her academic and musical career, she plans to seize every opportunity that comes her way to learn and experience as much as she possibly can within the music industry. She is currently working on building a home studio within her apartment to begin working on her own projects!

With musical inspiration drawing from pop-punk bands such as State Champs and With Confidence, ranging all the way to RnB influenced pop acts such as BTS and Ariana Grande, Madalyn’s versatile taste will definitely reflect through in her future projects.  Having been influenced from a young age by her father who would always sing and her mother who plays the piano, Madalyn grew up surrounded by music in an environment that supported musical growth. Though her love for music began from  about as far back as she can remember, deciding at the age of 15 that she wanted to teach herself how to play the guitar (and later the ukulele and bass guitar), was the moment that everything started.  From that moment on, it was a snowball effect.

This determined student musician has no plans of quitting any time soon. The future holds endless possibilities and she’s ready to discover them. She’s found what she loves and is ready to let it kill her.
